Lessons from almost 75 Years
More of Getting the King out of the Garden
“Lessons from Seventy-Five Years” is a collection of reflections gathered from a lifetime of work, marriage, community, and change. These essays aren’t memoir chapters and they aren’t personal confessions. They are distilled truths — the things time proved real after the noise settled. Each piece offers a story or insight without exposing private details, focusing instead on the universal threads that run through every life: responsibility, resilience, loss, faith, learning, and the long arc of becoming who you are.
If you’ve followed my earlier writing on spiritual perspectives, this series continues the deeper theme: how a life actually teaches a person, often in ways you don’t see until decades later. Tomorrow I will give a deeper introduction to this series.
